Comstor UK Captures Cisco Distribution Partner of the Year Award

Cirencester, England, April 5, 2007 - Westcon Group, Inc., world’s leading specialty distributor in networking, security, mobility and convergence, announced that its Comstor UK subsidiary has won Cisco’s Distribution Partner of the Year award in the United Kingdom for the fourth consecutive year. In addition, Comstor Europe won Cisco’s Worldwide Channels Award for Market Acceleration for is dedicated programmes OneVoice and OneDefense. The awards were accepted by Jon Pritchard, vice president of Comstor Europe at the Cisco Partner Summit earlier this week in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Comstor’s pan-European solutions programs, including OneVoice and OneDefense, have been adopted by over 500 reseller partners in the U.K. alone since their launch over two years ago. Also, Comstor has been the only distributor to align and activate dedicated business development teams to support Cisco’s unified communications strategy. Its ‘Smarter Business Solutions’ campaigns have been highly successful in driving demand generation within the channel.
