Westcon Group Extends Relationship with Juniper Networks, Targets Enterprise Markets in Both Convergence and Security

Tarrytown, NY, February 19, 2008 - Westcon Group, Inc., the leading specialty distributor in networking, convergence, security and mobility, announced an extended agreement with Juniper Networks, the leader in high-performance networking, to distribute its high-performance network infrastructure solutions.

Westcon Group is now able to offer Juniper’s infrastructure and security products throughout its European geographies – the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Ireland, Austria, Italy and the UK - and is able to deliver a robust value proposition to customers focused on networking and convergence through its Westcon Convergence business practice. Previously, only Westcon Group’s Noxs business practice carried Juniper’s security solutions to mainland Europe.

In 2007, Westcon Group’s Noxs business practice received Juniper’s EMEA Distributor of the Year award at the manufacturer’s partner conference in Alicante, Spain, where the distributor was recognized as having helped Juniper achieve “customer-centric, qualitative success,” while developing the manufacturer’s geographical reach.
